Detailed Product Description

Black Silicon Carbide is produced in an electric resistance furnace from quartz sand, petroleum coke or anthracite at high temperature. It looks black and has a micro hardness of 2800-3300kg/mm². It is suit for grinding cast iron, non-ferrous metal, leather, rubber, wood, rock, also be used as refractory materials.

SIC: 98.60%, F.C.:0.16%, Fe2O3: 0.29%
